Market insiders speculated that DTZ Property Network was faced by uncertainties connected to its parent company, DTZ Debenham Tie Leung (SEA). The parent company is locked in talks with the TGP-led consortium to acquire their stakes. The Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) will be launched in the first quarter of 2016, amid turbulent market conditions. With the launch of the agency, the market hopes to have an increased level of professionalism as well as a unified representation of sales agents.
